Date - September, TBC Time - 9.00am – 4.30.00pm Are you responsible for marketing your business and want to dramatically improve your skills to increase its profits - for free? As a qualified Approved Supplier for three different Business Link regions (East Midlands, Yorkshire and The East of England) I can offer you grant funded marketing services aimed at increasing your profit margins. I'm currently looking for 10 people responsible for marketing to take part in a one day Mastering Marketing workshop. So long as your business has not had Leaders First funding from Business Link in the past you can attend this £500 workshop for free. The workshop numbers are being kept small so we can work together on specific marketing subjects that the group wants to cover. This could be promotion, market segmentation, market differentiation or diversification - it will be up to the group members. The day will be a mixture of seminar and interactive workshop activity. There will only be one person from any one industry sector, so there won't be competitors in the room. That way you can talk openly and freely about your strategies and what is said in the room stays in the room. I'll be using a series of case studies and exercises designed to relate to you and your business. At the end of the day you will have learnt key techniques to help you increase your marketing skills, have indentified at least five key marketing steps to take to increase profitability and have made contacts with possibly nine new customers or referrers. I am looking at mid September to run the course, although the actual date will be set once the right 10 people have been identified and approved by Business Link East Midlands.
